Game Piece

For todays assignment in Form class we had to come up with another small object, this time a game piece like one of the little figurines you get in monopoly. I guess continuing on my animal theme from last week I went with a snail. This proved a lot more difficult than I thought. A snails body really has no base shape. I tried to start with an ellipse but that failed because the ellipse is overly even. I needed a shape that could go from a great width to a smaller one at the end for a tail. So after some quick youtubing I made three circles diminishing in size as I went on and then I connected them with a 3D surface using the loft command.
